Hello!
I was wondering what all your ideas are on this project. I was thinking that the museum idea for historical homes is a good one. Also, any preferences on what program you guys want to use for the concept map? I am not familiar with any of the programs, but will start looking into some of them. Looking forward to working with you guys! :)

Hi, I think that is a great idea. Would we include historical homes just in Kalamazoo or throughout Michigan. I am unfamiliar with the programs as well but I think one of them is free without it being only a 30 day trial.
ReplyDeleteI think sticking to just Kalamazoo may be a little easier, but doesn't matter to me! And picking the free program would probably be best. Let me know what you guys think and then we can get started on the concept map.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think we should use the live museum thing and include historical homes/places but also look for historical figures.
ReplyDeleteI experimented with the bubbl.com, and it seems very useful and easy for being a free site. I thought that the historical home idea would be a great choice because there are so many historical features to Kalamazoo. I also think that it might be easiest to just stick to using Kalamazoo history rather then anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteIn the concept map we could make our big bubble Historical factors of Kalamazoo. Then branching off of that we could do homes, streets, churches...etc. I know of a castle looking house on W. Main that is now used as a bed and breakfast, and on Maple Street right off Oakland there are old brick streets that would be interesting to research.
What do you girls think?
Also who is going to put together the concept map?
