Lesson Plans
This week we each have to make a lesson plan using TaskStream. We have to each do something different and it must be a topic from our concept map we made. I think we should do our lesson plan on the topic we did the web evaluations. I will make my lesson plan about historical figures. For my lesson I was thinking that I could have the students research an historical figure and give a presentation using Powerpoint dressed like the historical figure. Also I think we need to lower our grade level to third grade because according to the michigan standards they would be learning Michigan history in the third grade instead of the fifth grade but if you guys want to keep it at fifth grade that is ok with me. Its just a suggestion.

That all sounds good. I'll do mine on historical landmarks. We can change it to third grade... We want to meet MI standards. Right? ;)

ReplyDeleteHave you guys finished your lesson yet? What activity are you doing in your lesson? I am having some trouble coming up with an activity. I am focusing on historical buildings in Kalamazoo, more specifically on WMU campus and Kalamazoo College. Any ideas?

I think that focusing on WMU campus and Kalamazoo college is a great idea. For my lesson plan I am going to have them research a historical figure and write a 2-3 paragraph report on them and present the information to the class.
