Is this ok?
Is this ok for the final concept map? I wasn't sure what you guys wanted to include so if you want me to change anything just let me know. Also I noticed that the google map wasn't included along with the virtual pen pals and the podcast is still missing. I was thinking we don't have anything about the culture of Kalamazoo so I am going to work on that as a lesson. But I think another great lesson would be about advertising- I thought that we could include in the creating a live museum ways we could get students to advertise the museum by looking at different newspapers from Kalamazoo from the past. I think we need an introductory lesson as an overview of what our unit will be over. I was also thinking of having another lesson of Kalamazoo then and now which would have the students look at how Kalamazoo has changed over the years. These are just ideas I have been coming up with while doing the concept map. Is that something you guys would like to add? Let me know.

I think the Google map, virtual pen pal and podcast should be in the interactive classroom page.
ReplyDeleteSo you are thinking about adding 3 more new lesson? Ill add something about advertising in my page on creating a live museum...and ill fix the new lesson plan i made to incorporate the parts of the concept map.
and the concept map looks good to me! :)
ReplyDeleteInstead of making another new lesson plan on creating a live museum page, I am going to me an example of a newsletter the students could create to advertise the live museum in google docs and post it on the page. Does that sound good?
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good. If you want I can make a lesson plan for it.
ReplyDeleteI added the newsletter. Its totally up to you about making a lesson plan on it. I don't think we necessarily need it, but it couldn't hurt either.
ReplyDeleteOk, I looked over your lesson plan about creating a live museum one of my lesson plans was on how population has changed and I am creating a lesson on culture so maybe that could be added in the description of the lesson as well.
